Coach Guy Gniotczynski is an ASCA Level 3
Certified Coach and has been a swim coach for the past 13
years. His coaching career began as an assistant at the West
Suburban YMCA in Wisconsin, he served as an assistant until 2005
when he took over as the head coach and produced the team’s
first YMCA National Qualifier. While serving as the head coach of
the West Suburban YMCA he also served simultaneously as the head
coach of the Thomas Moore/St. Francis girl’s high school team
and an assistant at the Schroeder
YMCA.
In 2008 he took a position as a graduate
assistant at Carthage College in Wisconsin. While at Carthage the
men’s team won two back to back conference titles, the women
placed in the top ten teams in the country and had their first NCAA
D. III national champion in school
history.
After graduate school he went to work for
Williamette University as an assistant coach serving on deck and
led their recruiting endeavors. He also was the
assistant coach at the Bear Cat Swim Club where he assisted the
senior program and led the 11-14 year olds to the state, age group
sectional and zone championships. He presented at the Oregon
Swimming Coaches Clinic and helped the Bear Cats to two bronze
Medals for Excellence Awards.
Guy swam at Carroll College (now Carroll
University) in Wisconsin earning a bachelor’s degree in
biology with a minor in biochemistry. He completed his
master’s degree at Carthage College in education with a focus
in guidance and counseling.

Clinton Donovan Scheirer

Clinton grew up in the
small town of Washington in Central, Illinois. At the age of 7 he
began swimming summer swim team with the Washington Water Jets. In
2000 he began year-round competitive swimming with the Peoria YMCA;
competing in both YMCA and USA Swimming meets. Clinton yearly
placed at the YMCA Illinois State meet and the Illinois Age Group
Championships. Throughout high school (2004-2008) Clinton swam as a
represenative for the Washington Community High School at his areas
local high school sectional meet even though his high school had no
team and no pool. In 2007 he qualified for Illinois High School
Boys State in Chicago by winning his event at high school
sectionals. After graduating high school Clinton attended Carthage
College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He swam his first year at college
for the 2008-2009 collegiate Division III season before ending his
college swimming career to pursue academic opportunities. Recently
graduating from Carthage in the spring of 2012, he graduated with a
bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in
Communication. Moving nearly 13 hours away from home, Clinton
accepted a 5th grade teaching position at Corral Drive Elemenatry
School here in Rapid. Clinton is very excited to be apart of the
Racer team family, and eagerly anticipates the opportunity to serve
the Rapid City swimming community.

Autumn Stocking

Autumn was born in Warner Robins, GA in 1988. She began
swimming for the Warner Robins Aquanauts when she was 6. Two years
later, Autumn moved to Italy where she swam for the Aviano Sea
Dragons. She competed in Championship meets from '96 to '00 against
other military base teams in the European continent. She also swam
for the local Italian team. In 2000, Autumn moved to Rapid City, SD
and joined the Rapid City Racers. She swam and competed in every
state championship meet until she graduated from Douglas High
School in 2006. Autumn attended Black Hills State University for
her Bachelor degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education.
During her freshman year at BHSU, she helped coach the Black Hills
Gold. Then, at the start of the 2009 Long Course season, she began
coaching the novice groups for the Rapid City Racers. She graduated
from BHSU in December of 2010. She hopes to continue coaching and
help kids see that learning and swimming are lifelong
abilities.
