Pilgrims!
Just a little humor to start off the news. I was thinking that
it has been over a month since I last posted news so it was time to
get the word out.
The awards banquet was a great success. We had amazing food, a
perfect slide show, and of course...awards. If you couldn't attend,
check your folder in the locker on deck. Everyone who swam last
season has a certificate in there. If your'e new to the team and we
don't have a folder with your name on it yet (in the green or gray
file boxes) let me know; we use these for awards, payments, and
other papers that you might not have been able to pick up.
On May 1st we are having a RCR hosted garage sale at the
Hofmann's house. Please sign up to help set up, sell things, or
donate items. This is an opportunity to get volunteer hours and get
rid of some those items you found during spring cleaning.
I'd like to welcome all the new swimmers this season; Aidan,
Chase, Seamus, McKayla, Jake, Lauren, Will, Megan, Jayda and Caleb.
Thanks and congratulations for joining the Racers. They are great
kids and I hope that our team continues to attract more swimmers
like them.
Finally, I'll end with this...When do
monkeys fall from the sky? During Ape-ril showers!
